Cereal Ramblings

This commercial, for a cereal I never ate, shows up on a huge number of my cartoon videos from the '80s.

I reference it on a fairly regular basis.

I don't know anyone else who has seen it, least of all the people around when I growl "I don't know" in that voice.

I'm trying to correct that last bit.

    Oh, Fruit Wheat. The idea of fruit inside wheat sounds pretty gross, but I am a sucker for a cliffhanger...

    Nope, can't say I've seen Fruit Wheats. I am now edified.

    And how come the blond native in the Fruit Islands commercial sounds Israeli?
