"Should...should I rub his nose in it?" Take 2

Marvel plans "Onslaught Reborn," a 10th-Anniversary return to the "Heroes Reborn" Universe featuring Jeph Loeb and Rob Liefeld.

Because this was such a great idea the first time aroundOh look, it's Maestro!

No. No.

To be fair, Rob did draw a few feet in this picture. It's nice to see that his sense of proportion hasn't improved in ten years.

No! Bad Marvel! Bad! Look what you did!

This is why we can't have nice things.

Yes, another bowels-shattering dead-horse-flogging in the Mighty Marvel Manner! Or to put it another way:

Coming soon from the House of Ideas that were Bad to begin with and are now Even Worse!

'Nuff said.

Hah hah, Marvel loves us not.

I just can't believe there's enough people out there that like Liefeld's stuff to warrant his presence on a project like this. I mean, everyone I talk to really, really detests his artwork.

I would think that the combination of Liefeld AND Loeb would be enough to drive away all but the least discerning of all comic fans. You know, the people who still buy back issues of Jim Balent's solo book, or the audience that would buy "Ghost Rider Fights Wolverine Guest Starring Spider-Man: A 12-issue spectacular."

That looks great! Jeph Loeb and Rob Liefeld are two of the most talented comic creators in existence, so this is going to be awesome! The art style of Youngblood and the writing talent of Supergirl -- it's like a wet dream come true!

I mean, look at that wicked cool picture of Onslaught, who certainly wasn't one of the dumbest villains to ever come out of the 90s. He's about to bite Hulk's shoulder! That's wicked!

I think the word you're looking for is "Xtreme."
